As we get older, life gets more complex and it becomes more important to take time to care for ourselves and focus on our most important commitments.

The key is to figure out what is most important to you and prioritize accordingly. That includes the communities and groups you’re subscribed to.
If you’re no longer finding value from your groups, it may mean it’s time to move on.
Your time and energy are valuable.

Rules
Open a new note (paper, google doc, phone, etc.)
Create a list of all communities and groups you’re a member of
Determine what value each adds to you by adding a category (e.g. “Networking, Business, Giving back, etc.”)
Include a price for any groups you pay for
Review your list — aim for at least 2 value adds from each group
Analyze and decide which groups to remove yourself from

Why
I love communities and groups.
You meet amazing people, expand your network, collaborate with smart people, and find your tribe.
Yet, at the same time, we can overstretch ourselves with too many commitments.
This eventually leads to stress, anxiety, burnout, and more.
It’s important to take care of ourselves first and focus on our priorities.
And sometimes that means letting go of communities and groups that no longer add value to you.
Use this challenge to get back your time, stay prioritized, improve your health, and kick ass.
